Noir Addiction Poster
Sitting down with Noir Addiction felt less like an interview and more like a catch up between friends. When we last spoke to them (back on the 23rd of September, 2025) Chaos had only just begun, and Sonny was the guitarist of Noir Addiction. Fast‑forward to now, and the landscape looks very different. A refreshed lineup, a sharpened artistic direction, and two new personalities joining the chaos meant this interview had an entirely new energy.
Joining Sonny were Robert, the band’s relentlessly energetic drummer, and Nessie, the keyboardist and percussionist with a flair!

Sonny didn’t dwell on the past, but he did give an explanation of why the previous lineup dissolved: a difference in vision. Noir Addiction’s heart has always been in the darker, alternative industrial space; synth‑heavy, shadow‑drenched, and non‑mainstream. But the new goal is clearer: a sound that keeps its raw edge while becoming more radio‑friendly, something that can hook a wider audience without losing the loyal fan base that loves their grit.
We all know Doll, a fiend when it comes to prying information people aren’t allowed to spill. So what’s new? Well, the band was happy to spill some news. Since we last spoke, the band released a heavy cover of Depeche Mode’s “I Feel You” which marked their return to the scene.
A new single, “Serve Me Some Crime,” drops on the 20th of March. Though the band stayed tight‑lipped about the details despite our best attempts to pry.

Even bigger: a six‑track EP titled “Pretty Things Don’t Last” arrives in July, with two additional singles also being released. When I asked them what we could expect from the EP, to quote Sonny “The sound? Alternative industrial rock with thick layers of synths and a hint of synth‑pop”.
They also confirmed two shows in Prague on the 14th and 15th of May, a Berlin date in June, and a live festival recording. Touring guitarist Alberto will join them so Sonny can fully command the stage! Something he does with infectious enthusiasm!
The interview wasn’t all business. In true Noir Addiction fashion, chaos and humour threaded through the conversation. Doll taught the band the word “paralytic”, meaning “so drunk you can’t see straight,” which they immediately adopted with enthusiasm.
The band sang happy birthday to Doll in Italian, adding to her growing international birthday‑song collection (Swedish courtesy of Dimhall, now Italian, I’m collecting these songs like Pokémon cards!).
Speaking to the new faces to CHAOS, the band revealed even more behind the scenes madness. Nessie casually revealed he used to perform completely naked on stage, which Sonny proudly claimed was his idea! Robert admitted to being a night owl with endless energy, rounding out a lineup that is equal parts talent and delightful chaos! Despite the jokes, one thing was clear: this lineup works. Sonny mentioned how important it is that everyone is on the same page, no wasted time, no mismatched goals. The collaboration feels tighter, more intentional, and more creatively aligned than ever.
Their ambition is simple and sincere: play as many shows as possible and meet people. Within a year, they hope to expand their live presence even further, riding the momentum of their new releases and growing fan base!!
Thank you so much for coming back to Chaos and we can’t wait to watch your journey! We’ll be monitoring the inbox button for the releases!!
Much love! CHAOS.
